Heart and Home Quilt Club
It has begun, but it is not too late to participate in the Heart and
Home Quilt Club. We still have a couple of spots left. Stop by and see
this gorgeous quilt that measures 72" x 63" and incorporates different
techniques such as traditional piecing, and appliqué. It is a
beautiful quilt on which you will enjoy working. Our very own Judy
Mobberly has made the quilt and is facilitating the club. She will be
your resource if you have questions or need help as you construct your
quilt.
There will
be a brief meeting offered to participants on the second Thursday of
each month at 6:30 p.m. when the blocks will first be available for
pick-up. Judy will offer pointers on the block and go over
instructions. She will be a valuable resource for club members. Also
at the meetings, members will have an opportunity to show their blocks
from the previous month. The registration fee for this club is $20.

New Club
for 2010 - Sew Sweet Shoppe
Sew Sweet Shoppe is here and meets on the 4th Saturday morning
of each month, February - December in 2010, at 9:45 a.m. Each
month a fabulous new quilt pattern is introduced and given to
club members along with a collection of fat quarters. Each
quilt is, as you guessed, fat quarter friendly. They can be
made scrappy or color/theme coordinated - it is up to you.
Make only the quilts you want to make and bring them back to
the monthly meetings for show and tell, which is sure to be
one of the most anticipated parts of the meeting. Members will
also enjoy fun activities and the opportunity to fellowship
with other quilters. We learn together and laugh together at
our Saturday morning club meetings.
Each of the Sew Sweet Shoppe quilts has been inspired by a
delicious dessert and shares the name of that sweet treat. At
the conclusion of our club meeting, the club fun will be
topped off with the serving of the featured dessert of the
month - scrumptious!
Join us for the social event of the year. You will be glad you
did!

New Jacket
Club
One of the most rewarding quilted projects to make is a
jacket. It is a quilt that you can wear that will be enjoyed
and admired by all who see you in it. Join our fall Jacket
Club today and let Diane help get you started making your very
own one-of-a-kind jacket using your favorite fabrics. The
jacket we will be making this time is the Otter Creek Jacket,
which is a mid-length quilt-as-you-go jacket with flattering
lines that make it perfect for any body type. The pattern
includes sizes XSM to XLG. 1X to 3X is also available. The
club will meet on the first Thursday of the month, November
through February from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. The enrollment fee is
$15 and the monthly meeting fee is $15.
