Sales Associate Needed

Want to be a part of a growing company and work within a team of caring individuals in a bright and happy environment? We are looking for an individual who is friendly and engaging, and who loves working with people and fabric. Responsibilities include offering great customer service, selling our products, promoting shop events and other tasks. This is a part-time position offering 18 to 25 hours per week, with the potential for advancement.
Sewing Machine Department Manager Needed

Quilting/Sewing experience is helpful, but not required for this position, but good sales and marketing skills are needed.  The Sewing Machine Department Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Associates, and managing the Machine Sales Department. If you are successful in sales, organized, and capable of teaching your strategies to a team, we’re excited to talk with you. Some sales management experience is preferred. This is a 30 to 40 hour a week position.
Education and Event Coordinator Needed

We are looking for an individual who is organized and energetic to manage our education department and to coordinate shop events.  This person needs good communication skills and must have some experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.  Duties will include planning and the implementation of those  plans for workshops and other education events held here at the shop or off-site.  For events, you will assist the manager in planning and implementing tasks for other sales events both in the shop and off-site.  Some duties will also include, but are not limited to, using Constant Contact (email service) for promoting workshops and events, as well as creating promotional materials for use in the shop. This positions requires you to work between 12 and 20 hours per week, and to be available during our operating hours, and on occasion, some evenings. 
Merchandise Manager Needed

We are seeking an individual who has data entry skills and who is detail oriented. Good basic math and organization skills are necessary. Duties include entering purchase orders into our POS system, unboxing and checking in inventory, processing paperwork and occasionally communicating with vendors. Other duties will also include, but may not be limited to, entering data into our on-line shopping cart and processing/shipping orders. This is a 3-4 day per week position.
Kit Department Coordinator Needed

Do you like working with fabric? Can you supervise the work of others? Do you possess good organizational skills? Can you think logically, and are you good with simple math? If so, you may be a good fit for this position. We are looking for someone to lead our kit makers team. You will be involved in the planning and production of our quilt kits, as well as, managing our team of sample makers. This position does require some work at the computer, so good computer skills are needed, as well as the ability to stand at a cutting station for extended lengths of time.  This is a part-time position offering 13-24 hours and a  3-day work week.
With the need for at least 6 new samples each month, we are always looking for additional sample makers. With our program, you get to choose which samples you make. When we are finished using the sample, you will get it back to keep. We are looking for those who are proficient in quiltmaking, which means this program would not be for beginners. We are also looking for those who do machine embroidery, hand embroidery, all forms of applique (including wool) and garment makers.
